St. Anxiety is both everything you might imagine and nothing you would expect a typical mental hospital to be. St Anxiety is a place where shock treatments, lobotomies and other unconventional means of treatment occur on a daily basis. It's not uncommon to find patients literally bouncing off the walls or to see a maniac wearing a hockey mask racing down St. Anxiety's halls wielding a chainsaw (usually the electric kind with an extension cord that conveniently manages to come unplugged before any serious physical damage occurs) .

The Asylum is a hilarious and irreverent look into the minds of some of the most lovable lunatics ever to have been committed. The Asylum's cockamamie cast of characters talk out loud to themselves, destroy hospital property, pull foreign objects out of their ears, lock themselves in closets and that's just the faculty.

The Asylum takes jabs at current events and popular culture by looking at it from an entirely different viewpoint, that of the certifiably insane. Surprisingly there is something in each of St. Anxiety's resident nutcases every one of us can relate to.
